The evening was filled with glamourous gowns, and garments at the EMIGALA Fashion Awards 2023, held at Dubai Festival City. More than 1,000 people filled the awards ceremony, gathering together to enjoy the festivities as well as network with creatives.
The EMIGALA Fashion Awards are presented to Arab as well as International fashion designers, influencers, contributors, celebrities, magazines, and more to give recognition to the work they have contributed to the fashion industry. The star-studded ceremony saw Harpers Bazaar Arabia win a Fashion Initiative Award for the World of Fashion event hosted every Autumn. It also saw influencer Noor Stars win the Beauty Influencer of the Year Award for her outstanding social media influence on every media platform, speaking to millions of young women.

Guinness World Record holder and fitness fanatic Dareen Barbar looked like a real-life Elsa who had just walked off Disney’s Frozen. She wore a Princess-like off-shoulder, figure-hugging gown with her hair in a simple yet sleek low bun.

Lebanese Actore Mohammad Ajammi looked cool and smart dressed in Prada from head to toe. His suit paired with chain accessories completed his chic look and it was his thick, black glasses that stole the show for us!

Entrepreneur Pierette Yammine stood elegantly on the red carpet in front of the event backdrop wearing an electric blue gown. Pierette also went for sleek hair with it brushed back and straight for a “Kim K” look.

Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom complimented one another with Fayral wearing an elegant pink gown with detailed embroidery and feathers. While boxing husband Amir, wore a sleek black suit – buttoned up, we a casual tee underneath.

Singer and Actress Tina Yamout also wore an electric blue gown, however, Tina opted for a princess cut skirt – it is a fashion gala after all!

Fashionista Meena Rose looked like an ice Queen wearing a dress by Zeena Zaki. The simple and elegant design featured a net long sleeve dress with an open slit in the middle.

Deema Al Asadi won an award for Arab Fashion Influencer of the Year and she looked flawless collecting it. Deema wore a black dress with a detailed cut, blush bronze makeup with a ruby necklace matching her red nails – o la la.

Nawal El Zoghby, a Lebanese Pop Artist, quickly uploaded her Instagram Reel, twirling in a black dress with an eye-catching frilly skirt design. Nawal sang on the night and looked amazing in her outfit – the off-the-shoulder look was definitely the style of the EMIGALA Fashion Awards.

Karen Wazen = the lady in red. Karen Wazen looked flawless as always dressed in a chic red dress, perfect for the red carpet. Her look turned heads and she embraced it with confidence smiling throughout the night and collecting her award for Global Brand Ambassador Award 2023.

Host of the EMIGALA Fashion Awards 2023 was Enjy Kiwan, dressed in a white gown by Maison Yeya and looked naturally angelic and beautiful. Enjy was the epitome of opulence and stole the show on stage.

Dubai Bling influencer Farhana Bodi wore a dress by Nali Barzani, hair by Amro Ladies Salon, and makeup by Ben Biton. Farhana also won the Star of the Night Award at the EMIGALA but it was her hair design that definitely turned heads on the night. Farhana said in a video on Instagram “It better look good, it took 2 hours to create!” Once again, Farhana shows that fashion is pain, but 100% worth it.

Coming in at number one is Ebraheem Al Samadi aka The Blooming Man, owner of Forever Rose Cafe and another member of the Dubai Bling cast. Ebraheem wore a suave black suit with intricate design detail, paired with a stylish bow tie. We normally see Ebraheem with straight or wavy hair, but it was his curly locks that were the main attraction making him our best dressed of the evening!
