Caesars Palace to be replaced by Banyan Tree
The hospitality landscape on The Bluewaters Island is about to change. By November 2023, Caesars Palace will be rebranded as Banyan Tree Dubai after a deal between Dubai Holding, Ennismore, and Banyan Tree Group was announced yesterday.
This is just the beginning of a string of new projects and brands coming to Bluewaters Island.

Sébastien Bazin, chairman & CEO of AccorHotels, said in a statement: “We are thrilled to be at the beginning of a promising development partnership between Accor and Dubai Holding, and the announcement of the opening of a stunning Banyan Tree Dubai on Bluewaters is the first of many projects involving our brands in the pipeline to further develop and grow our presence in Dubai and globally.”
What to expect from Banyan Tree Dubai
As we say goodbye to Caesars Palace, let’s take a look at what the new Banyan Tree Dubai offers. The new project will be repositioned in phases and will feature 179 rooms, which includes 30 suites, and a four-bedroom villa for VIP guests that features its own pool and slice of beach.
Banyan Tree is renowned for its wellness offering, which is why the Banyan Tree Spa will be a considerable part of the offering at Banyan Tree Dubai. At the Spa, visitors can expect indoor and outdoor yoga spaces, a relaxation area, a gym, mini rainforests, hydrotherapy pools, and treatment rooms.
The resort will have five restaurants and bars, each curated through a collaboration with Ennismore’s in-house food and beverage concept studio Carte Blanched and Banyan Tree Group. Expect to see the closure of places including Hell’s Kitchen and Demon Duck, alongside Caesars Palace.
Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, also made a statement: “Bluewaters has always been a destination for major projects that redefine luxury and cement Dubai as a global beacon of the tourism industry. Our collaboration with market leaders like Accor, Ennismore, and Banyan Tree Group marks an important milestone in our ongoing journey of elevating the rich hospitality landscape in Dubai.”
