KISS concert in Dubai canceled

The Coca-Cola Arena announced suddenly today that band KISS will no longer perform in Dubai for their End of the Road tour.

KISS concert canceled

Rock n Roll legends, KISS cancelled their concert in Dubai that was set to happen this Friday, October 13. No news regarding why or whether the concert will be rescheduled has been released.

The Coca-Cola Arena released on their website an update stating that All Things Live Middle East, the presenter behind the upcoming ‘KISS – End of the Road’ concert released a statement: ‘KISS has today confirmed that they have canceled their show due to unforeseen circumstances and will be releasing more information imminently.’

The arena also shared the news on their Instagram accounts.

According to Coca-Cola Arena, all tickets have automatically been refunded to the same card used for the transaction, however, transactions may take up to 21 days to reflect.

Last time in Dubai

The band last played in Dubai at a huge New Year’s Eve concert in December 2020, where they headlined at Atlantis The Palm. This gig broke two Guinness World Records, as KISS played and streamed to a global audience of two million with more than 500,000 live streams.

According to lead guitarist Paul “Starchild” Stanley in an interview with Esquire, when the band was last in Dubai, they set the swimming pool at Atlantis on fire. “It was a New Year’s Eve show but it was in the midst of Covid. We were literally locked in the hotel, as were the rest of the guests and it was totally surreal.”

It would have been the bands’ fan’s last chance to see the vibrant rockers, as this is their farewell tour. The End of the Road tour, celebrating 40 years in the business, began in Canada in 2019 but was interrupted by the pandemic.

Other concerts in October

Since you may not be able to see KISS this month, don’t miss out on other concerts in the UAE by Khalid, Sean Paul, Andrew Schulz, and more.
