Malaysian label Rizman Ruzaini opens Dubai Fashion Week with a Mughal-inspired range

Malaysian label Rizman Ruzaini, founded by Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil, opened Dubai Fashion Week’s Autumn-Winter 24/25

Here are six looks we loved from Rizman Ruzaini’s autumn/winter collection for Dubai Fashion Week.

Drenched in gold

Rizman Ruzaini‘s latest collection pays tribute to Empress Mehrunissa while channeling the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. This caped silver piece, worn with a dramatic choker and nath (Indian nose ring), reflects the empress’ fabled beauty.

Dreamy Ballgown

Labels preference for deep black is no secret. The stately ballgown is given a sparkly boost with this sleeveless piece, which features a bejeweled overlay.

Elegant Silhouettes

The set, which features an appealing and royal drape and a more modern form for the top, exemplifies the label’s passion of blending traditional cuts with contemporary touches.

Remembering Naomi

The gown, which is reminiscent of Naomi Campbell’s show-stopping ensemble at the show at DFW in October, has been modernized and simplified, complete with the jewel-encrusted caped jacket.

Iridescent Beauty

Rizman Ruzaini’s shimmering pleated piece combines opulence and elegance. A magnificently beaded, full-sleeved inner piece gives the monochrome fabric to life.

Rizman’s Best for last

The night’s show-stopping look, which introduced the design house’s bridal couture services to the GCC market, featured this majestic ivory bridal gown that evoked the empress’ ageless elegance.
