From Hollywood to Abu Dhabi, Reynolds Takes the Chair

Ryan Reynolds, the mysterious skydiving celebrity who appeared in a recent teaser ad for the Abu Dhabi site, has been revealed as Yas Island’s new “Chief Island Officer.”

The “Deadpool” actor takes over the role from US actor Jason Momoa, who succeeded US comic Kevin Hart.

In the new commercial film, Ryan Reynolds is seen parachuting into the center of the action amidst fast cars on Yas Marina Circuit, missing his chosen landing place at the W Abu Dhabi

“I’ve been an actor, a producer, the owner of a Welsh football team, and the list goes on. Reynolds’ remarks is interrupted by the roar of F1 cars racing around the circuit.


The trailer also shows the actor enjoying the sights and sounds of Yas Island, as he zooms down water slides at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, explores Gotham City, and rides rollercoasters at Warner Bros. World.
