The popular video platform and community for gamers, Twitch, blocks accounts from ‘receiving payouts due to a discrepancy with certain tax information.’ The outbursts from content creators have been viewed over the social media news channel Twitter where the hashtag #twitch_arab_streamers is being used to bring gamers together as a collective to find out what is actually going on.

This is not fair a lot of them are Full-Time streamers on Twitch we didn’t receive any notification about this or a solution about it
The conversation continues over Twitter sparking anger and fury as full-time streamers, particularly the Arab streamers, voice their views of this unfair treatment.

Many tweets about not having warnings given to them about the withholding of money is also coming up across the social media feed adding to the frustration of many.
