We all agree that sustainability still ranks within the top five critical issues in many countries, and there is a growing feeling of despondence among people as to how much impact they can make on an individual level.

So, the question remains: how can we still bring about positive change?

The importance of sustainability remains a prominent issue globally, but many individuals are experiencing a sense of hopelessness regarding their ability to make a meaningful impact. This feeling is exacerbated by climate anxiety and eco guilt, as well as a surprising rise in climate skepticism observed in recent years, notably in France, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

In order to reduce this eco-anxiety and climate consciousness, these environmental influencers are creating awareness around climate issues, addressing some core problems, and giving solutions. These Sustainability activists are on a mission to give it back to planet Earth and make a difference.

Arushi Sana Chandwani is a digital content creator, farmer, and speaker at various events creating awareness around sustainability. She has received “Times Power Woman of the Year,” and “Digital Entrepreneur of the Year” awards for her work in the sustainability area.
