Instagram encourages to be yourself via new campaign

#YoursToMake showcases how you can explore who you are with Instagram. The official Press Release says, “For young people, identity isn’t defined, it’s something that’s constantly explored. Whether that means connecting more deeply with the people that matter to you, discovering and experimenting with new interests, or sharing your perspective, however work in progress it may be.”

This hashtag #YousToMake on instagram already has 15 thousand and over pictures of people who are opening up their real and authentic side over Instagram within such a short span.

“Instagram is a lot of things to a lot of people. From a yearbook & a club during quarantine, to a travel log, scrapbook or business incubator. IG is where you are is never defined, but constantly explored, by discovering WHO and WHAT matters to you.” says @JeremySchumann over Twitter – Jeremy is a Brand Strategist for brands like Nike, Air.bnb and the Gammy’s.

The campaign’s hero film highlights the power of self-exploration on Instagram. It takes you on a journey of discovery featuring a wide range of products within the Instagram ecosystem. The film spotlights real creators and everyday users who are using our platform to push the boundaries of creativity and experimentation—including Hip-Hop Artist Topaz Jones, Gymnast Morgan Hurd, Native American Makeup Artist Madrona Redhawk, and Digital Creator Justin Yi.

Yours to Make serves as a celebration of the good that can come from connecting with communities and interests on Instagram.

The campaign will be live in the US and UK starting today, and will launch in additional countries later this year.
