Earlier this year Pantone put up their yearly ‘Colour of the Year’ post and stated that for 2021 it would be – Illuminating Yellow and Grey. These colours are to convey a message of strength and hopefulness that is enduring and uplifting during the tough times that we witnessed in 2020. Pantone may have named a pale yellow as one of its major colors of 2021, but from the looks of it, it’s not without competition.

But one colour who’s trend we’ve seen rising is Emerald Green (from the start of 2020). From spotting it on Engagement rings to Bella Hadid in an all-emerald ensemble on the runway, we know for sure this is trending. This shade has the diversity to make anything look elegant. From manicures, to furniture upholstery, Emerald Green has found its way into our homes.
