Tokyo, Paris, New York and London have all danced the night away in the past and now its Dubai’s turn. “I am very happy to return to Dubai after 11 years with one of my itinerant One Night Only,” designer Giorgio Armani said in an official statement.
The event was organized in the 2010-completed Burj Khalifa, which at 160 stories is currently the tallest building in the world (although rumor is the Saudis are poised to beat this record). Most of the lower 40 stories of this building are dedicated to the Armani Hotel, whose 10th anniversary was the point of last night’s show.
Editors, Influencers, Hoteliers, Real Estate and Business Owners and many other jet-setters were sent invites for this event. Of course, only the cream-de-la crowd of Dubai got to attend this show. The fashion show was followed by an intimate performance by Coldplay front man – Chris Martin.
The event was attended by celebrities, VIP guests and personalities, many of whom had flown in from around the world to be here for this impressive show. Celebrities in attendance included Sharon Stone, Lily James, Clive Owen, French actress Mélanie Laurent, model Taylor Hill, actress Madelyn Cline, Jurnee Smollet and more.

The show, which was presented on a mirrored catwalk with the impressive backdrop of the Burj Khalifa, the World’s Tallest Building on one side, and the Dubai Fountain on the other featured men’s and women’s looks from the Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2022 collection, as well as a selection of Armani Privé Haute Couture looks from the Fall/Winter 2021/22 Shine collection.
