In the Middle Eastern music awards in 2018, Mohammed Al Salhi won an award. The judges committee featured musician Mr. Hany Mehana, composer Mr. Sami El Hefnawi, and poet Mr. Nader Abdallah. Mohammed Al Sahli won the award of encouragement, alongside Mohamed Saad, Zohier Bahoui, and Marita Al Helani.

Best oriental singer was won by Okka & Ortiga, and best female oriental singer was won by Sherine Yehia. Best composer was won by Amr Moustafa, and best musical arranger was won by Osama El Hendi.
