Selena Gomez teases the release of her documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me on her Instagram. The video snippet shows the title card of the documentary in a screening room. The singer confirmed in her Instagram caption that the documentary would be released on AppleTV+ “Wanna hear a part to my story…My Mind & Me coming soon to @AppleTvPlus.”
Her followers are extremely excited about the release and took to the comment section to show their support. The star has been in the industry for years and has sold more than 210 million singles worldwide. While the release date has not been confirmed, we know that the documentary is directed and produced by Alek Keshishian.
Selena was also nominated for an Emmy for the critically acclaimed series “Only Murders in the Building”. The singer, songwriter, actor and activist will have the opportunity to tell her story with this documentary.
What will Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me be about?
The documentary will focus on the singer’s personal life, showing six years of her life. The press release explains, “After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”
This will be the second time Apple is partnering with Lighthouse Management + Media and Interscope Films for a project. They had worked together on Emmy Award-nominated documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.”
