MrBeast's scary challenge: 100 days isolation for $500,000

Contestants face the ultimate isolation

MrBeast, the philanthropic YouTube sensation, known for his extravagant challenges, has recently upped the ante by introducing a unique format. In this novel challenge, two contestants, Bailey and Suzie, are confined to an isolation chamber for a whopping 100 days with a chance to win $500,000.

Challenge dynamics

Bailey and Suzie, both content creators with sizable followings, embark on this journey without having met before. The challenge dictates that if either contestant decides to leave the chamber, both lose the chance at the grand prize. The isolation chamber, equipped with basic amenities like food, a private bathroom, and a bed, presents additional challenges with bright lights hindering sleep.

Resisting temptations

Inside the chamber, the contestants create a routine, engaging in repetitive activities and even crafting playing cards from journal paper. To make their lives easier, MrBeast introduces tempting offers every 10 days. While some offers, like a private chef for $50,000, are declined, others, such as a family visit for $20,000 on Suzie’s mom’s birthday, are accepted.

Outbid MrBeast

On day 70, a unique twist occurs. MrBeast offers the contestants a chance to regain missed conveniences, but they have to outbid him. Bailey and Suzie bid $100,101 against MrBeast’s $69,001, securing the additional amenities.

Split or steal

As the challenge concludes, contestants face the ultimate decision—split the remaining prize money or attempt to steal it. Both Bailey and Suzie choose to split, each walking away with $180,000.

MrBeast’s unconventional challenges continue to captivate audiences, pushing the boundaries of endurance and entertainment on YouTube.
