But victory didn’t last long

T-Series Overtakes PewDiePie As The Biggest Channel On YouTube

The drama never ends when it comes to The Battle of PewDiePie and T-Series. And yesterday evening, T-Series was winning.

According to Mashable, T-Series overtook PewDiePie as the most subscribed YouTube channel for roughly eight minutes “(by a max of about 2000 subscribers.)”

This was confirmed by SocialBlade, a social media analytics company, famous for helping users track channel statistics.

In case you’ve been doing a social media detox and have no idea what we’re talking about, here’s the tea…

The biggest YouTuber in the world (PewDiePie) is at risk of being dethroned as the channel with the most subscribers by a Mumbai-based music label and film production company (T-Series).

PewDiePie (a.k.a. Felix Kjellberg) boasts over 87 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and is considered the most popular YouTuber in the world (even if he wasn’t included in the 2018 YouTube Rewind video).

Last summer T-Series’ YouTube channel started racking up the subscribers, threatening PewDiePie’s reign as the biggest channel on the platform. And for few minutes yesterday, T-Series was the biggest channel on the video-sharing platform.

But PewDiePie made a quick comeback.
