200,000 Viewers Tuned into 'Instant Influencer' James Charles' Reality Show

Beauty Mogul James Charles has debuted his new YouTube Originals Series ‘Instant Influencer’ amid the COVID-19 pandemic, to 200,000 live viewers on YouTube.

Teaming up with Paris Hilton and Anastasia Beverly Hills president Norvina, the YouTuber chose six budding influencers, out of the thousands that applied, mentoring them in the ways of being a beauty guru.

200,000 fans tuned in for the first edition of the show, with James admitting in a tweet: ‘I’m tearing up.’

Episode one of the competition series, whose goal is to unearth the next big beauty influencer, introduced the six contestants — Benny Cerra, Ashley Strong, Christian Perez, Kailin Chase, Britany Renteria, and Gabriel Garcia — as well as what’s at stake: a $50,000 grand prize, a $10,000 lighting and videography package, as well as a collaboration with Charles on his channel, which now counts a staggering 18.2 million subscribers.
