Since 2009, ITP Media Group has hosted this annual event to celebrate the success of leading female figures in the region, and this year is no different. In partnership with UN Women, Cosmo ME, a subsidiary of ITP Media Group, is bringing back this ceremony that it will be leading with a little twist!
There’s a reason why the awards show added “Next Gen” to its name for the first time ever. The 2022 version is rather focused on pointing out the next generation of inspirational, influential and brilliant-minded women, aged between 13 and 28 years old.
Cosmo Middle East has really strived to make this event all about zoomers by teaming up with TikTok, the show’s exclusive tech and social media partner, because after all, you can’t really think about gen z representation without the platform popping into your mind.
An extensive Arab Woman Awards Board has also been formed to decide who will take home one of the thirteen trophies. This panel of judges encompasses specialists from different fields and includes the following names:
- HH Sheikha Maytha bin Hasher Al Maktoum
- Amani Aruri – Member of UN Women Gender Innovation
- Emaan Abbass – Founder of KETISH
- Soraya Bahgat – Social entrepreneur and women’s rights advocate
- Milli Midwood – Editor in Chief of Cosmopolitan Middle East
The ceremony is set to take place on the 18th of March at 2:45 pm in City Centre Mirdif as a part of Cosmotel 2022, and you definitely don’t want to miss it! Send an email to ArabWomanAwards@itp.com now to reserve your spot.
