Fausto Puglisi is the creative director of Roberto Cavalli. Alba Sofy interviewed Puglisi at Grazia Middle East magazine. He shares different things, from his morning routine, his astrological sign, his preferences as a designer, and how he dresses middle eastern women.
Cavalli shares that in the morning, he loves to wake up in the sunshine. In Milan there are beautiful mornings, and he enjoys a cup of coffee first, because he is very Italian, and this a must. The next things he does are think about his collection, and that includes thinking about fabrics, and fashion. He also thinks about his schedule of the day, and gives his dogs a walk.
What sign is Puglisi? A Pisces. In a series of questions, Sofy derives from Puglisi that he is creative, sensitive, easy going, very caring, independent, and don’t like to ask for help. Puglisi says, “exactly, you got it!” Pisces are very creative, and sometimes create world of their dreams that they fall into delusionally. But, for designers and artists, Pisces can become the most creative directors with the most to offer. Their creativity is a gift, and is only a problem if they use it to avoid their true selves as an escape.
What about when it comes to Middle Eastern beauty? Puglisi shares that middle eastern women are beautiful, chic, and sophisticated. And they are very modern as well, which he shares is a little bit hard to do, but indeed, they do it. The respect of women through dress; there is a tight dress with a kaftan, a balance of feminity and elusiveness. The eyes, he shares, the tiger eyes!
