Ghida Arnaout shared an important message about how gender equality and a sustainable future link together. She created a campaign with @buro247me to celebrate International Women’s Day, where models in the shoot held different signs with poignant messages towards equality. Different messages shared included, “Hey Warrior, Keep Going!” And “It’s a SHE who gave birth to a HE!” She also shared words from her Grandfather, who broke stereotypes during his time, and was very respectful to women.

The theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March, 2022 (IWD 2022) is, “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, recognizing the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all.
As a woman I worry about the future generations when climate change is not being taken seriously by world leaders.
And I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of women who feel the same way.”
