Rihanna had already secretly shared the name of her son, but now rumors have been confirmed.
UK’s newspaper The Daily Mail revealed the birth certificate of and shared the name of Rihanna and Rocky’s newborn baby. Born on the 13th of May, 2022 RZA Athelston Mayers is the name the parents chose for this mini-superstar. RZA was the name of the leader of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan and Athelston pays tribute to Rocky’s middle name.

Earlier in the year, Rihanna told a news source “Rocky wanted to know [our first baby’s gender]. He wanted a boy” She continued. “At first, he was open, then he was like, ‘Nah, I want a boy, I’m sure.’ I was just like, ‘Lord, please let this man get what he wants…'”
Although the parents have not yet confirmed this is the name of their son, Rihanna has also been said to have given hints of the name. Hello! Magazine released images of the singer wearing a t-shirt with RZA on the front.
The couple are now preparing for their second child with no news on the gender or name.
