Dana White is all for inclusivity between the UFC and the Middle East

UFC President Dana White spoke to the media following the UFC 280 with his reaction to the fight. He also answered questions from the media, answering an important question that an ITP Gaming spokesperson had asked.

The question was “a lot of fans have been asking, are we going to have Arabic commentary for the next edition of the UFC 5 game?” After a short pause, Dana replied “That’s a good question – that I don’t have the answer to sir but I will look into it for sure, it should.” Another question the ITP Gaming Spokesperson requested “to add Etihad Arena as a venue so it’s playable in the game as well.” Dana White answered “I’ll get it done” with a smile on his face.

This is so important as there has been no Arabic commentary for any UFC game and therefore this is the first time anyone has posed the question. Since the pandemic in 2020, no one could throw any events. Abu Dhabi created a bubble for UFC and since, made the relationship between the Emirate and the UFC much stronger than it ever has been.

With Etihad Arena mentioned in the game, it does a lot for gamers in the Middle East as it’s the first Arabic Arena that will be featured. FIFA has shown its diversity by including Arabic commentary and now, UFC will potentially have it which is historically highlighting the relationship between gaming and sports in the Middle East.
