Dubai-based Iraqi fashion influencer and TV personality Deema Al Asadi made headlines for her first “milestone” for 2023.
The Instagram influencer revealed that she took part in a photoshoot with French high-end fashion label Chanel.
“My first post for 2023 had to be special,” she remarked to her followers. Posing for my favorite design house, Chanel was a significant moment in my fashion career.”
In the black-and-white photograph she shared, the influencer sported a windowpane combination that included a miniskirt and jacket. Deema accessorized her look with a matching pair of chunky Chanel bracelets, a pearl choker with a bow, and another necklace bearing the illustrious logo of the brand. Chanel brooches were also worn by the stylish mother of one to complete the ensemble.
Deema’s social media friends congratulated the blogger on her brand deal, including actress Farhana Bodi from “Dubai Bling,” influencer and entrepreneur Mina Al-Sheikhly from Iraq, and Egyptian actress and public figure Enjy Kiwan.
Since then she has worked with major fashion houses like Alexander McQueen and online fashion store @Ounass, health brand @Bepanthen Arabia, among others.
Deema has been recently honored with the Arab Fashion Influencer of the Year award from @theemigala.
Previously, Deema made her catwalk debut in February 2022 during Milan Fashion Week for the Italian brand Elisabetta Franchi. She graced it with a cropped jacket over a sequined, black dress with a plunging neckline.
Before becoming an Instagram sensation with 1.1 million followers on the platform, Deema held a career in dentistry.
