2. External tools
These are 3rd party tools designed to make your life easier when it comes to tracking the above for multiple pages and profiles and displaying it in a format a little easier to take in.
- Hootsuite (Free & Paid): Amazing tool, mainly known for profile management, but also has analytics and reporting capabilities. Best part is, it can track these metrics for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and now through the integration of Tailwind, even Pinterest.
They do have a free account, which allows up to 3 profiles for management, and some basic analytics. And their basic account, perfect for just starting out, is just under 10$.
- Buffer (Free & Paid) – Management and Analytics, this one gives you a baseline view of engagement for every post that’s created. Not to mention, it studies your audience and even suggest the most optimal times for you should be posting.
- Sprout Social (Free & Paid) – Used for Management & Analytics as well. Provides very in-depth and highly visual reports. Capable of managing and monitoring Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, Instagram and even Google Analytics. The only thing is, this one’s a little on the pricier side with their starter package being 99$, but most of that comes from their post scheduling capabilities. They do have a one- month free trial though, so you can see if it’s worth it to you with no strings attached.
