Discover the current hottest TikTok trends

TikTok Trends

TikTok is one of the fastest-growing social media platforms, which has inspired many individuals to create their own content and build large fan followings.

Popular video content can inspire others on the application to recreate their own versions. Since sounds can be created and shared easily on TikTok, creating your own video to follow viral trends and build your following isn’t hard.

Since some trends can no longer easily be found on the For You page, here are the top TikTok trends rising on the feed this August you don’t want to miss out on.

Trend: Barbie

The Barbie movie has inspired many trends on TikTok. Across the world, more and more users have posted videos of their recreations of the popular dance choreographed by couple Austin and Marideth (@cost_n_mayor) to the Barbie World song, or made videos of their partners using the “I’m just Ken” song to describe what users’ “Ken’s job” is and what they come with.

Trend: Vampire

Olivia Rodrigo’s latest single Vampire has taken TikTok by storm. The song currently ranks at number 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 list almost a month after it’s initial release. Fans of the song either record themselves passionately singing along to the bridge, create transitions of their looks, or make edits carefully aligned to the song’s beat.

Trend: So Nothing Bad Happened?

Users on TikTok are using this audio while adding text overlays of questions to which the users respond by shaking their heads. Two of the most popular types of questions being asked are if they’ve told a secret to different people or if there is “something wrong?” and the user not caving until they’ve been asked multiple times.

Trend: Girl Dinner

Girls have created a new trend on TikTok that showcases snacks, drinks, or meals such as nachos, a cheese plate, cereal or anything else that requires as little effort in cooking as possible to an audio that says “This is my meal, I call this: Girl Dinner”. It has even sparked a filter that gives user’s three options of a “girl dinner”.

Trend: Ashely, Look at Me!

While this TikTok audio previously sparked users on the application to make transitions, it is now being used to recreate a recent TikTok made by the Kalin Brothers (@berdox24), who have since gained over 45 million views on their original video. This TikTok trend continues to go viral this month.
