Canon G7 X: The viral TikTok camera
This camera has been slowly on the rise all year, with Influencers in March sharing their sunset pictures on the beach that were not taken by your regular iPhone, but rather with the Canon Powershot G7X.
Lauren Wolfe’s video amassed over 4 million views with TikTok users declaring: “This fully convinced me to buy a digital camera.”
Since then, people continue to share their unedited sunset pictures and other shots, stating that their pictures now come out better than ever since starting to use the digital camera.

More and more people have become convinced that this is the only camera they need for Instagrammable pictures, and that they beat out any iPhone in terms of quality and consistency.

In another clip, which has 6.1 million views, model Amaya Crichton compared the sunset portraits she took on an iPhone with the same images taken on a Canon PowerShot G7 X.
Although the iPhone photos were also good quality, viewers felt that they lacked the vibrancy and color of the digital camera’s photos, and concluded that a good digital camera is superior to any camera phone.
