LinkedIn introduces new creator-friendly features

You can now have a better understanding of your LinkedIn audience.

In an effort to draw more creators to the professional platform and even push more users to turn on creator mode and increase their activity, LinkedIn has released brand new tools. The latest upgrade is set to include content analytics, profile video features, newsletter showcase options and even a subscriber bell for update notifications, which all aim to provide more opportunities to grow and develop a certain brand image.

Now what does each feature have to offer? Let’s take a look at them together.

Content Analytics

LinkedIn explains the purpose behind this new addition by stating:

From total impression numbers to engagement statistics, you can now see what’s working and where you can improve your content strategy.

With the in-depth overview of insights, creators are now able to optimize their content by understanding their page better and acknowledging where their followers are from, which content they like to see more of and even where they are from.

The social network; however, didn’t stop here. Improved post analytics were also introduced by the LinkedIn team, who further explained how they can be used to the creator’s advantage:

You’ve always been able to see analytics on your posts— but we’re refreshing those analytics and adding a new level of detail. You’ll now get more in-depth data like post impressions for articles, along with improved demographic breakdowns for all post types so you can see who is driving your engagement.

Profile video tools

Leading applications are focusing more and more on videos, and LinkedIn cannot but keep up with the latest trends. This is why the app has initiated improved profile video tools as well as new metrics on profile video views that will give users a better idea of what their followers and connections would like them to shoot next.

In addition to everything else, a profile video ring will also be visible in feed and search, letting others know that they can discover more about you through your profile video.

Subscribe bell

You can count on your followers to stay up-to-date with your content by turning on this new feature. With this ‘bell’, they will be notified as soon as you publish a new post while also giving influencers the ability to display their newsletter on their profile. With this new tactic, more followers will be encouraged to subscribe to content as it’ll be easier to discover and locate.
