Facebook recently partnered with Ray-Ban to launch a completely new take on what social media looks like. Remember when you thought as a kid that there will be a time when you can take pictures with your bare eyes? We are not too far behind that!
Nobody likes to wear an entire head-gear for more than an hour, and that is one reason why Facebook’s Oculus was not the biggest hit. Something similar yet different is Facebook’s partnership with Ray-Ban over their AR Wear-ables.
Nope, this does not have Facebook’s branding nor can you see the future with it. But you can capture stories and quite literally say “I wish you saw what my eyes saw” with these sun-glasses.
Features include:
- Dual 5MP camera gives your content new depth and dimension.
- Takes high resolution photos (2592×1944 pixels) and quality video (1184×1184 pixels at 30 frames per second).
- Camera automatically adjusts to the light around you for high quality captures.
- External facing capture LED signals to others when you’re taking a photo or video.
They come in 6 stylish colours, in case raw black is not your type! Once you figure out how to capture stories and images via your new shades, view the images on the app. The glasses are available in three styles, each based on traditional Ray Ban designs, including the ever-popular ‘Wayfarer’, one of the only sunglass styles that looks good on almost anybody.
