About Missing Submarine

The Titanic expedition was expected to cost $250,000 per person, aiming to explore the wreckage site of the famous Titanic. The journey commenced three days ago from St. John’s, Newfoundland, and was supposed to have a 400-mile voyage into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

There were 4 other successful trips to the Titanic wreck in the past with the first two being the test trips and there are approximately 18 more trips planned for the Titanic expedition. According to the report, unfortunately, the alleged submarine, operated by OceanGate has encountered an unknown incident, leaving the passengers on board at uncertain risk.

OceanGate, the private company which is responsible for the submarine’s operation, has mentioned in a statement that they are concerned and committed to finding a solution for saving people on board. However, they didn’t come up with the exact number of individuals missing or onboard the Titanic expedition.

The Coast Guard reported on Monday that the submarine’s operating company ‘OceanGate Expeditions’ has informed them that the vessel has gone missing. Also, they mentioned that the missing vessel can sustain its five occupants for about four days before it runs out of oxygen.

“We’re doing everything we can do to locate the submersible and rescue those on board,” according to Rear Admiral John Mauger.
