Salman Khan’s Unforgettable Performance
Bollywood Superstar, Salman Khan lit up the IIFA 2023 stage with his grand entry by the Norwegian dance group “Quick Style” followed by an energetic and bold performance from the group as a tribute to the superstar.
Then Salman Khan took center stage, charming the crowd and setting the stage on fire with his title song “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” and a stimulating action-packed performance on ” Billi billi akh” from the same film. Known for his magnetic performances and ending the night with a Bang, that is what his performance did ending with the foot-tapping beats of “Seeti Maar”.
Rakul Preet’s Awe-Inspiring Tribute to the 70s
The Bollywood actress and performer, Rakul Preet Singh along with Nora Fatehi paid tribute to the 90s superstars in IIFA 2023 in their own classic and mesmerizing style. Rakul Preet was dressed in a simple white dress with a sporting 70s hairstyle and her smile throughout the performance was vibrant and sassy.
The choice of songs for Rakul was melodies from classic movies like Aaiye Meherbaan, Babuji Dheere Chalna, Ajeeb Dastan and Mera Naa, Chin Chin Chu. Her performance was short and sweet, the audience was cheerful for her Awe-inspiring tribute.
The Trio Moment (Hrithik Roshan, Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan)
The star duo, Abhishek and Vicky Kaushal were already on the stage of IIFA 2023 as hosts when the dancing superstar Hrithik Roshan joined them for receiving an award for Best Actor in a leading role for ‘Vikram Vedha’.
At Vicky Kaushal’s request, the three performed the routine from Ek Pal Ka Jeena song live on stage leading to what we could say was the most cheerful moment of the night with the audience applauding and giving a standing ovation to the trio.
Nora Fatehi’s Fiery Performance
Unveiling the night with a mesmerizing cabaret extravaganza, acclaimed performer and Bollywood actress, Nora Fatehi took the IIFA 2023 stage by storm. Nora performed on a medley of songs including “Piya Tu AB To Aaja”, “Aaj Ki Raat” and “Aao Na”, her captivating moves and style showcased her exceptional dancing skills and transported the audience into a world of glitz and glamour.
Varun Dhawan’s Energetic Performance
Varun Dhawan is known for his positive energy and passionate performances. The Bollywood star performed on stage in his song Oonchi Hai Building reimagined in Sanjay Leela Bhansali style and set to the tune of Malhari. The Duo started the evening with a catchy jingle, which featured every nominated film, the dynamic hosts, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal captivated the audience and ensured an evening filled with non-stop entertainment and masti.
Abhishek Bachchan has hosted the IIFA Awards in the past and is popular for his infectious energy and seamless charm, Vicky Kaushal added an extra part to the star-studded event, leaving the audience enthralled throughout the night.
Babil Khan Dedicate first award to his father
Babil Khan, son of the late Bollywood superstar Irrfan Khan, won his first debut in the “Best Debut Award 2022” for his performance in the Netflix film Qala. As an emotional tribute, Babil dedicated the award to his late father, thanking him and his mother Sutapa Sikdar for being his support system.
Babil shared the accolade with Shantanu Maheshwari, who won it for his role in Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt.
Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline’s Magnetic Performances
Kriti Sanon and The Quick Style performed on ‘Param Sundari’ mesmerizing the audience with their groovy moves and unforgettable smiles. Jacqueline Fernandes also gave a graceful performance, bringing the house down with her fiery moves and amazing style. Farah Khan and Rajkumar Rao unleashed an epic entertainment extravaganza at Sobha Realty IIFA Awards 2023. Farah also gave a stunning performance and audience truly had a blast.
Anil Kapoor’s Opening Speech
Anil Kapoor, the Bollywood superstar, and seasoned industry veteran, left the entire arena in awe with his captivating opening speech at IIFA 2023.
