Hitting the cinemas on the 21st of July, 2023, Barbie is currently the most talked about film, and now you can watch the official trailer.
Warner Bros has hit the mark with the new Barbie movie with an exceptional cast. Barbie is played by Margot Robbie, and Ken doll by Ryan Gosling, and we as the audience are just living with them in their world.
In under 24 hours, the video has hit 6.5 million views – suffice to say, the hype has now heightened on the popular franchise, with wit, humor, and an engaging storyline for adults and children!
In the trailer, we’re enjoying life in the “doll house” living our best lives in the pink wonderland. Suddenly, things take a turn and everyone comes to a halt in the middle of a dance routine when Barbie asks “You guys ever think about dying?”
Similar to Alice in Wonderland, Barbie “falls down the rabbit hole” by being presented with two options – to either live her fantasy in heels or get a look into the “real life” in Birkenstocks. Barbie replies “The first one. The high heel.”
This is all elevated more when Barbie can no longer walk or stand on the balls of her feet because they have become flat. She is also unable to float between floors in the Dream House, so Barbie has to make a decision and we all know that’s where the real adventure begins.
The movie is fresh and exciting, giving us a look inside the world of the most popular doll on the globe. With the diversity of the Barbie doll now hitting the shelves, Barbie has become more of a familiar play doll and is seen in nearly every household.
