Born in London and residing in Australia, Will Parfitt made his name known on TikTok where his following grew enormously and for one particular reason. Although he is making a name for himself and wants his own identity, the uncanny similarities of his features to that of Channing Tatum cannot go a miss.

As a show dancer, Will was unable to perform due to the lockdown. WIth shops closing and the entertainment industry coming to a halt, and no one allowed out of their homes, Will decided to make a TikTok account.
In an Australian news outlet, he said, “I started to post on TikTok literally because I was bored…. our industry was just dead because we were in lockdown and we couldn’t perform and it just sort of kicked off massively.
Everyone was commenting saying ‘you look so much like Channing Tatum’. When we came out of lockdown and I went to the shows and it was mad, everyone knew who I was!
The industry was dead during the pandemic,” says Will, “and I thought I needed to find a way to make (my following) into money. So I thought ‘let’s do it’. It actually saved me, I was making more money from that than the shows.”

Will Parfitt has been stopped online and offline and confused for the American superstar. However, it’s not all bad as Will is making a nice and hefty profit from his look-a-like work. He charges to perform at events as well as send personalised messages for special occasions, or just for those who want it!

It is no surprise that Will Parfitt is making money from looking like a celebrity star, and his social media numbers prove it. On TikTok where Will’s account generated followers rapidly, he has 6.8M followers, and on Instagram, he has 1.6 million – both verified accounts (of course).
