This is a must-watch if you loved the iconic film Hereditary.
Totally Killer — October 6, 2023
Starring Kiernan Shipka as a daughter who travels back in time to team up with a younger version of her mom, played by Olivia Holt, to defeat the Sweet Sixteen Killer, Totally Killer is a comedy horror movie that arrives on Prime Video on October 6, 2023. It will blow you away and comes highly recommended by fans of Happy Death Day.
Dark Harvest — October 11, 2023
Dark Harvest has had several scrapped released dates, with the most recent being September 22, 2022. This horror movie concerns a specter named Sawtooth Jack who goes up against violent gangs of boys hoping to take down the supernatural creature once and for all.
Night of the Hunted — October 20, 2023
Night of the Hunted is a new horror movie arriving on Shudder later this year. It stars Camille Rowe as a young woman who becomes caught in deadly events at night after stopping at a gas station. The horror movie releasing on Shudder on October 20, 2023, means subscribers can experience the new thrilling story right before Halloween.
Five Nights At Freddy’s — October 27, 2023
Five Nights at Freddy’s has been in development for close to a decade, and the announcement that it would be released in 2023 came as quite a surprise. The movie is based on the popular video game of the same name, which is about a nighttime employee of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a children’s restaurant. The animatronic mascots of the restaurant come to life and kill anyone in the restaurant after midnight. Starring the likes of Josh Hutcherson, it promises to be one of the most bizarre new horror movies of 2023.
Sister Death — October 27, 2023
Netflix is participating in the 2023 horror movie release schedule with Sister Death. Sister Death follows a nun named Narcisa as she joins a school to teach young girls before unexpected events occur. Those looking for some non-American scary stories around Halloween can look no further than Sister Death, and it truly is terrifying.
