What’s new from Meta
The company is experimenting with a new Creator Marketplace on Instagram, in which influencers can be found by brands for prospective collaboration opportunities.
Influencers will be able to mention their interests and the kinds of content they would like to create on the new Creator Marketplace, that then assists different brands to find suitable candidates for campaigns.
This is an excellent initiative that streamlines the partnership process for both influencers and brands.
Reels Play Bonus
They are also expanding their Reels Play Bonus program to several Facebook creators, so that users will ultimately be able to cross-post their Instagram Reels to Facebook and monetize within both apps.
As Reels have proven to be a hit success and bring in strong competition against rival company TikTok, this new feature will intice more creatives to use the feature created by Meta.
Make money with Facebook Stars
Facebook Stars is a digital currency, that allows users to purchase and give out to creators whilst live-streaming.
However, Meta has recently started broadening Stars to Reels, which will ultimately allow more influencers using the social media platform to generate an income.
This feature is a great way to build on audience engagement and well, make money!

There is no doubt that competition is fierce at the moment between social media platforms and with the company moving towards their Metaverse evolution so effectively, it will only give them an advantage against rivals TikTok and YouTube.
“We’re heading toward a future where more people can do creative work they enjoy, and I want platforms like ours to play a role in making that happen.” Zuckerberg stated.
