The image-sharing app has gained popularity over the recent couple of years, especially since the app is a digital home, filled with creative ideas and inspiration. The digital event followed Pinterests’ recent story pin launch, where creators can now adapt to the platform with their visual stories through images, videos and text, similar to Instagram and Snapchat!
Pinterest is now used by a worldwide audience including influencers and popular creators. As it continues to gather attention, influencers and creators on the app are starting to look into the importance of building even a ‘Pin’terest presence!
In recent news, Pinterest is launching a ‘Pinterest Creators Festival’ on October 15th @ 1pm EST/10am PST. The team will be introducing guest speakers including Elaine Welteroth, David Chang and June Ambrose as well as other creative content-creators on the app, who will explore the art of building an online community!
The festival will also welcome internal experts and experienced Pinterest Marketers including Jaime Schmidt of Schmidt’s Naturals, Erica Chan Coffman of HonestlyWTF as well as the representative of the online video platform, ‘Vimeo’.
Accompanying the event is Pinterests’ new “Make The World Make”

initiative that hopes to not only shed light on the current creators’ work on the app but also encourage a wholesome participation from the Pinterest community, in order to “fill the internet with as many courageous, thrilling and immediate ideas as we can.”
