Boost your Instagram with archive

Learn how archive can be used to your advantage.

Boost your Instagram with archive

Have you ever scrolled through Instagram, clicking on different buttons and wondered what each of them do? We have all been there and done that! However, every function is there to help benefit you in some way or another, and one of those helping hands is the archive button.

Instead of deleting posts on Instagram and losing your data, you can archive them creating an entirely private gallery of your own. The archive function also archives your story once they have been up for 24 hours. You can go through what worked and what didn’t by archiving your posts, re-publishing new content and comparing your data.

If you want to re-vamp your Instagram profile, archiving posts will give you the opportunity to temporarily experiment with your page. By archiving the post, you can see what is relevant and if you would need those posts in the future. A post that you hide may work or may not, but at least you can make the decision of whether or not you would like to keep it in the private folder. There is no limit to how long an archive post stays in your folder, however, if you decide to un-archive a post, it will return to the same place it was when you created it.
