Day after day, influencer marketing is becoming indispensable for brands looking to promote their business and TikTok creators in particular are being more and more relied on to boost customers’ trust in different brands. The traditional ads that we as online users are very much used to are starting to become outdated and quickly overlooked as everyone is now looking for something fresh and creative.
To add to that, all the brands that are succeeding in transmitting powerful messages are doing so in collaboration with influencers found on TikTok; however, one can only wonder why the focus is being shifted to TikTok creators.
We all know TikTok is not about to leave us hanging, which is why the platform released a new overview, which includes a few stats that should answer our questions about TikTok creators.
First off, TikTok seems pretty confident about the positive qualities of its creators (and rightfully so) as it describes them as “happy, kind, witty, and friendly” when explaining the reasons why they are seen as the new creative force driving the age of influencers. The short-video platform’s figures are more likely to motivate people to take action after a certain product review, recipe or even challenge, with 67% of viewers saying that TikTok creators’ videos are relatable.
To add to all of that, there’s just something different about the way that TikTok is built and the way it facilitates conversation and interaction. To elaborate, TikTok creators and users have the chance to equally participate on the platform, with TikTok creators sparking “conversations and users contribute to them in equal measure”.
But that’s not all, there’s another reason why TikTok creators are being relied on to promote products or services; brands are becoming more aware of the importance of letting these influencers be themselves and not push them to adopt a specific script or scenario to share their opinion. Instead, promotions are all done in a manner that goes in line with the creator’s personal brand, otherwise it would only put viewers off and turn the whole thing into an insincere scheme.
With all of these proven facts at hand, other platforms should definitely be putting in more effort to enhance their marketing potential as more and more brands are migrating towards the trendy platforms where TikTok creators are showing other influencers how influencer marketing should be done.
