MrBeast Shatters Subscriber Record in YouTube Battle Against T-Series

MrBeast’s Unstoppable Rise to YouTube Dominance

MrBeast Overtakes T-Series to Become YouTube’s Most-Subscribed Channel

On June 1, 2024, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson surpassed T-Series to claim the title of the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, avenging PewDiePie’s loss of the crown in 2019.

The following day, Donaldson announced on X that he had broken his personal record for daily subscribers, gaining nearly 2.1 million in 24 hours—over eight times his typical daily growth of 250k. “Yesterday was the most subscribers we’ve ever gotten in a day,” he wrote, adding a shocked emoji.

Dominating YouTube Records

Although this surge didn’t set the all-time daily subscriber record on YouTube, Donaldson holds several other records, including the most subscribers gained in a week, month, and year. His channel’s growth spiked in late 2023, and he once held the record for the most views on a non-music video in its first 24 hours.

The Ongoing Rivalry

MrBeast has already extended his lead over T-Series by nearly two million subscribers. As both channels race to reach 300 million subscribers, Donaldson shows no sign of slowing down, making it likely he will hit the milestone first.
