TikTok for Business began its SWAG U design competition earlier this year for anyone and everyone with a passion for creativity in 🇸🇦 KSA and 🇦🇪 UAE. The program was produced in order to collaborate with future design leaders of the GCC; centered on empowering the community and giving them tools to express themselves and their unique ideas.

TikTok Creator Annabelle Newman (@annabell_newman) explained it best in the short video below:

That’s where the TikTok For Business SWAG U challenge came from; a competition for anyone in the GCC to design the next batch of super awesome TikTok SWAG 🎨. Putting the brand in the hands of the community was an act of confidence from an organisation that is all about community, creativity, and collaboration.

With over 160 unique entries registered and submitted through the SWAG U website, judges from the TikTok for Business team had their work cut out for them picking the winners. Annie Arsane, Youssef Gaddalah, and Maha Moussa from the TikTok Global Business Marketing team formed the panel of judges that brought their expertise from the industry to help determine the winning ideas based on creativity, brand relevance, and practical application💡, as the winning ideas will actually be adapted to create the next edition of official TikTok merchandise in the GCC 👏.

Winners were announced at a live event on the TikTok MENA Live page in true TikTok fashion 😎. They will receive commemorative trophies 🏆 to stake their victory as well as their own box of TikTok swag 📦, while all qualifying participants will receive digital certificates of participation 📜. In addition, TikTok for Business will be crediting all the original designers when creating the limited edition SWAG U box from the winning entries; spreading their inspiring and fun ideas far and wide to brands and businesses in the region.
