The recent trend that’s flooding TikTok FYPs is the “Turning my mom into me” makeover trend. Everybody loves a little makeover moment. This moment is even sweeter because it mainly consists of the daughters getting their mothers to dress like them and have them do a runway walk. The trend currently has over 19 million views on the platform.

This trend is showing that age feels just like a number as mothers are dressed up in their daughter’s clothes and had their makeup done the same way as their daughter’s and look fabulous. Most of the mothers were dressed in plenty of different Gen Z styles of fashion. The transformations and the catwalks were sweet and fun to watch. The added touch of all the moms’ confident smiles was a great touch. This is a win as a fashion and makeup trend in TikTok. Since then there have been many variations of the trend like “Turning my dad into me” or “Turning my brother into me”.
