On March 24, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hosted the 2nd edition of fashion’s biggest night in the Middle East, the EMIGALA Fashion Awards.
Celebrities, influencers, and VIP personalities from various nationalities were present to celebrate each other’s achievements and shed light on creators in the Arab world. To do so, the night featured a magnificent dinner and performances by multiple A-list attendees, in addition to the highly-anticipated award ceremony.
Owing to the EMIGALA’s collaboration with Twitter, people from all over the world were capable of live streaming the entire event and cheer on the award winners as they stood next to supermodel and host Siran Riak and gave their winning speech.
Among the winners, there was Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe, who took home the Fashion Icon of the Year award and proved she deserves it by looking stunning in a glamorous dress designed by Mikhail Chamoun.
Make Up For Ever also received the Cosmetics Brand of the Year award, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia won the Fashion Magazine of the Year award, Urvashi Rautela was given the title India’s Pride & Most Powerful Woman of 2022 and even Leonie Hanne was named Fashion Influencer of the Year. The list goes on as numerous artists and innovators were honored for their efforts and works.
