Are you looking to grow your following on TikTok – one of the most popular social media platforms in the world? Then you’re on the right page as we are going to tell you how you can grow your channel in just 30 days!
Steps to take to gain 15k followers in less than 30 days
1. Create a plan
Your first step is to create a plan – how many times do you want to post on your channel? Experiment and see what time to upload works for you. You can either upload one video a day or 2 videos a day depending on how many videos you can make.
2. What will you post?
Here, you need to look at what kind of content you would like to post. If you want to grow fast on TikTok, you should have an idea already of the topic or topics you want to post (knowing your niche). With that in mind, start brain-dumping a list of ideas for that you can start creating content. What do you want to be known for? By the second week, integrate more of the topics that you want to be known for.
3. Batch now to be spontaneous later
Batching is great. If you are unfamiliar with the term, it means creating more of one thing! Batching, however, is not always great for TikTok, and is better for platforms like Instagram – Reels, unless you are just starting out.

If you are someone who wants to post educational videos, then this is something you can do in a batch form to upload on TikTok on the days that you don’t feel like recording. If, however, you would like to do pranks, then that’s something that would take more time, and you would need to prepare a little more for it.
Batching helps to fill in the gaps!
4. Consume on TikTok
Know what’s going on in your niche and what’s happening with the topic that you’re talking about. If you want to post recipes, then consume other people’s cooking videos so you can understand the style in that content is being created. You’re not consuming to copy; you’re consuming to research, study, and be inspired.
By studying, we mean, what can you learn from an educational standpoint through looking at the insights, analytics, or hashtags of someone’s video that’s doing well.
Are the videos fast-paced? Are they in the car and does that person well? Are they talking about money? Are they teaching something? Basically, what can you learn from a video?
TIP & TRICK:
- Go onto TikTok
- Go to search
- Type in your niche
- Filter the results by the most liked videos in the past 7 days to see what is currently trending
Is there a sound that was used that you can use to your advantage? Is there a topic that maybe there is drama and that you can hop onto to discuss? Use the TikTok filters and features to understand what to post on.
5. Post your videos!
Create and post – if there are videos in your draft, just post them. People get caught up in “what should I post?” “Is this good enough?” “What hashtags should I use?” Forget about the tactical side, and just post.
- Post 2-3 times a day – consistency
- Use a trending sound in every video
- Use specific hashtags for your niche
- Think of TikTok as Instagram stories – nothing fancy!
- Make “selfish content” – growth content and nurtured content. Growth is educating and nurturing is asking questions and replying to comments. Selfish content is just for you! It isn’t for your followers, it’s just for you to do and post about what may be relevant, or may not be, but it’s just fun for you! (That’s okay too)
- Follow the comments – where do the comments lead to? Respond to comments from a video and make new videos from a viral video. We always check the comment section first. So, reply to the comments with videos and follow the comments and make more content like a Netflix show that you can binge-watch!
6. Post something controversial
If you really want to go viral, then post something controversial. Not extreme or against the law, but controversial in a sense of “find out how much money I make as an influencer” – interested? Exactly.
Influencer marketing is so new that it’s not a bad thing to tell other influencers how much you make from social media. This then puts a guideline and guide price on how much you should be charging brands for content if you are looking to make money and grow your page into a business.
Record the video in a way that is catering to what is trending already. For example, if there is a trending dance video, learn the dance, use the trending sound and hashtag, but filter in the information on the video that you want to get across. This way you are ticking all of the boxes.
