After 21 years India’s Sargam Koushal wins India back the Mrs. World Title. Celebrations are in order as the Mrs. World pageant in Las Vegas has crowned its newest lady, Sargam Koushal. India last received the crown in 2001 with actress Aditi Govitrikar. The global pageant is the first for married women and it started in 1984; this platform gives married women a chance to showcase their uniqueness and talent.
Sargam Koushal
Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, Sargam worked as a teacher in Vizag. She is a model, painter, and teacher with a master’s degree in English literature as well as a bachelor’s degree in education. Koushal is 32 years old, settled in Mumbai, and is the wife of a Navy officer. Over 63 countries participated in the pageant and the two finalists were Mrs. Polynesia and Mrs. India. For her final look, she wore a graceful and sleek pink sequined gown designed by Bhawna Rao.
