According to Social Media Today, Facebook has published its latest earnings report, showing double-digit increases users and revenue.

Daily actives jumped to 77 million in the first quarter of 2020 which can be attributed to the COVID-19 lockdowns implemented globally- social media users across the world have been spending more time on screens as they continue to work from home etc.

Undoubtedly, the numbers show that Facebook continues to provide services which are very much integral to users on a global scale especially as we seek digital ways to keep connections alive amidst uncertain times.

Across all of its apps – Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram – Facebook has also shared that it’s now close to reaching its next major milestone – 3 billion total users.
