Is there someone on your Instagram profile that you don’t want on there? Well, there is one simple way of removing them from your page without them knowing.
We all have that one person who lingers on our story or on our profile who we don’t want to see our posts. Unfortunately, we cannot just send them a DM and tell them to unfollow us and for some, it is not in our nature to do so.
Some people have the negative energy you don’t want or who are unkind to you face-to-face but still always seem to follow your story religiously. There is the option of hiding the person seeing your story or blocking them completely, but if you don’t want to cause any problem and do it silently, then keep reading.
How to remove
To remove someone from your profile, all you have to do is block them, then unblock them. By blocking them, it will automatically remove the follower from your profile, as well as any interaction they have had with you (likes, comments etc). Below shows you just how to block and unblock them quick and simple:
Step-by-step
- Go onto the person’s profile
- Click the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner
- Click block
Unblocking
- Go onto your profile
- Click on the 3 lines in the top right-hand corner
- Click Settings
- Click Privacy
- Scroll down to Blocked accounts
Now you can ask the question “why did you unfollow me” if the awkward question ever came up in conversation!
