The world of YouTube had been waiting for this moment for months…
In the heart of Los Angele’s Staples Centre Saturday night, vlogger KSI officially won the YouTube Boxing King award in a rematch against Logan Paul.
However, the latter is not happy about it. Social media sensation and vlogger Paul said that a controversial penalty is what cost him the match.
The official numbers on the judge’s scoreboard showed that gamer KSI won by a split decision: 55-56,57-54,56-55. The 26-year-old British YouTuber broke down into tears when he was announced the winner on stage.
In the fourth round knockdown, Logan Paul was deducted two point which cost him the match.
“The wild sequence that round started when Paul landed a big uppercut, sending KSI crashing down to the canvas,” steaming service DAZN said.
“However the ref ruled that it was a punch behind the head and a push that made KSI taste the mat. It was ruled a knockdown and a two-point penalty for Paul.”

“I let emotions get the best of me, but I will say, no warning and I got two points taken away from me?” Paul said.
“That’s why I think I lost tonight. Do the math. The two points that I got taken away from me was the reason I lost tonight. I would love to contest the commission because I think I should have gotten a warning.”
When asked by the ref if he would be up for a third fight, Logan Paul was up for it but KSI said that he was officially done and on to the next thing.
