Content creator and one of social media’s most phenomenal comedians, Adam Waheed, posted a hilarious video questioning the debate of how far is too far when it comes to some household rules of “no shoe in the house.”
Adam Waheed often collaborates with other content creators, such as Hannah Stocking, Anwar Jibawi, and DeStorm Power to name a few. This time around, the comedian teamed up with Dubai influencers, Noor Stars, and the Marwah family to bring some humour and light-hearted laughter to his fans globally as well as those situated in the Middle East.
Did Adam Waheed just open the door to a rule we all question; no shoes in the house?
The video starts off with Adam Waheed arriving as a guest and is welcomed at the door by Noor Stars, Asala, Anas, and Mila Marwah. As he walks in, they immediately stop him to ask if he can take off his shoes. Waheed politely agrees, takes off his shoes, and leaves his socks on. He’s then asked to take off the socks and hesitates for a moment but does it anyway, which is exactly what a polite guest is supposed to do – comply with the rules of the host.
The video quickly takes a turn as they start making crazy demands to clean his feet and eventually test his patience by demanding he walks over hot stones before he can finally enter the house. After taking one step, Adam burns his feet, hilariously yells, and screams; Khalas, enough is enough and storms off!
Sometimes some household rules can be too extreme, whether it is for “no shoes in the house”, running, or tv-less dinners, where do we draw the line to make guests feel comfortable as well as respect the manners of the host?
To be honest, no one knows, and it is always an uncomfortable situation to deal with when faced with crazy demands. Luckily for us, we have Adam Waheed exaggerating weird scenarios people often face to make us laugh it off with ease.
