Fai Khadra, influencer known for this friendships with the Kardashian family, took a visit through Egypt last week. He shared a photo of himself at the Sphinx at Giza, and at several locations in Luxor, including at Karnak Temple, Nefertiti’s royal burial chamber in the Valley of the Queens, and at a couple other noteworthy mosque’s and opulent locations. It appeared his celebrity influencer status garnered him access into some locations generally guarded from the public and groups of tourists at large.
Underneath this photo of himself standing beside the Sphinx’s paw, he shared the tongue in cheek caption, “It’s definitely the aliens 👽”. To which Kim Kardashian shared the response: “Obvs 👽”. The two Hollywood influencers post garnered several thousands of likes, however Egyptian influencers shared the following comments in response;
“It’s definitely not.”
“They’re called pharaohs fai and theyre not aliens, ur supposed to know that 🙄🙄🙄”.
And “La its the pharaohs habibiii”.
It seems that Egyptians were not generally entertained by more stereotypes resulting out of foreign tours of the Ancient cites. However, Fai was welcomed with lots of warmth as well. People shared:
“welcome😘😂😘”.
“Hayati enta”.
And a sarcastic, “i thought we were doing pyramids tomorrow?”
Not only have the pyramids stood the test of time, but so have Egyptian’s sense of humor.
