On Thursday, OpenAI, the San Francisco based AI (artificial intelligence) lab behind ChatGPT, unveiled its intention to launch a new version of the Chabtbot for the iPhone on Apple store. The idea was to push the first AI chatbot’s popularity among users and make it easily accessible .

Ever since the launch of ChatGPT in November, millions of people have leveraged AI technology, which can write emails, create poetry, answer questions, and do research on almost any topic from a web browser.

‘ChatGPT App for iOS’ is OpenAI’s another step towards its mission of transforming state-of-the-art research into usefool tools to empower people. The ChatGPT iphone App is rolled out initially in the US, but plans to expand to other countries and android devices in the coming weeks.

Making the chatbot more accessible the founders are eager to see how people use the app with some new features from the ease of their mobile phones. What’s new in the ChatGPT Mobile App?

The ChatGPT iPhone app is available for free use and syncs your history across devices. OpenAI has integrated a new feature Whisper, an open-source speech-recognition system. Unlike the browser-based version of ChatGPT, the iPhone app will respond to voice commands just like Apple’s Siri.

The smartphone app will generate responses in text, the app is not featured to answer with voice yet. ChatGPT Plus subscribers will enjoy access GPT-4’s new features like early access and faster response times on the iOS as well.
