Sprout Social has released its 2023 list of the best times to post to each of the main social media applications, based on an analysis of engagement trends over the last year.

The most effective times to post on Facebook in 2023, according to Sprout’s analytics, are:
Mondays – 8 am to 1 pm
Tuesdays – 8 am to 2 pm
Wednesdays – 8 am to 1 pm
Thursdays – 8 am to 12 pm
Response rates for this mega social media app indicates that mornings are more effective while weekdays outperform weekends.
The best times to post on Instagram are:
Mondays – 10 am till 12 pm
Tuesdays – 9 am till 1 pm
Wednesday – 10 am till 1 pm
Friday – 9 am to 11 am
On Instagram, the biggest engagement occurs in the mornings as well.
Sundays are the worst days for interaction on Facebook and Instagram, yet this may also present fresh chances for engagement if other companies don’t post on Sundays.
Tiktok
Unlike other social media platforms, Tiktok prefers afternoons.
The highest engagement occurs from Tuesday to Thursday, after 2 pm and before 6 pm, highlighting the variation in social app usage and the times when individuals are seeking different kinds of content.
However, the data also reveals that weekends are bad for TikTok engagement, which is contrary to the other platforms.
Evidently, the greatest time to tweet is in the morning: from Tuesday through Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm, there is the highest level of total tweet interaction, consistent with the platform’s greater emphasis on breaking news.
On Pinterest, Sprout revealed, has the highest activity on Tuesday through Thursday between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Though Sundays and Mondays are less active, Fridays have strong engagement on this social media.
According to Sprout, the ideal times to publish to corporate profiles on LinkedIn are:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
