First on the list is the summer blockbuster starring Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brian Tyree Henry. Based on the novel by Kotaro Isaka, the film is set in Japan five assassins board the fastest bullet train to carry out their respective missions. Each of the characters faces adversity and trickery as they collide with fate. It’s an action-packed movie filled with outlandish characters and quirky humor.

Emily the Criminal (2022)
Next is a crime thriller directed by John Patton Ford and starring Aubrey Plaza, releasing on the 7th. In the film, Aubrey Plaza plays Emily a student riddled with student debt who cannot find a job due to a minor criminal record. Seduced by easy money, Emily takes shady gigs and enjoys the thrills of black-market capitalism. Emily then fosters the idea to bring their business to Los Angeles.
Lookism (Season 1)
Netflix has brought success to many anime that debuted on their platform. Taejoon Park’s webtoon animation “Lookism” is the next one to set the stage. The anime is set to release on the 8th. The plot of the drama is closely linked to its name. “Lookism” is a term that has a similar meaning to the term “pretty privilege”. It refers to the preferential treatment of people based on their attractiveness. The series is about a high school student who can switch two bodies; a “handsome and fit body” and the other is an “ugly and overweight body”.

Emily in Paris (Season 3)
There’s more than one Emily on Netflix now. Emily in Paris returns to Netflix for it’s 3rd season on the 21st. Many are excited for Lily Collins’ fashionable character to appear on screen again. The 2nd season topped the Netflix Global Top 10 in 2021. Emily in Paris brought laughter, drama, fashion, and Paris to the screen of Netflix subscribers and the fans are delighted to reunite with 3rd season of the series this December. The series is about Emily, played by Lily Collins, who chases her ambitions all the way to Paris as she navigates her marketing job, and her friendships, and juggles romance.

Alice in Borderland (Season 2)
The hit Japanese thriller series is back for a second season, Alice in Borderland hit the Netflix screens on the 22nd. The series is about an abandoned Tokyo where people are forced to compete in dangerous games in order to survive. The first season was released in 2020 and garnered a lot of fanfare and attention. Season 2 was confirmed only weeks after season 1’s release. The series is based on Haro Aso’s thrilling apocalyptic manga of the same name.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Sequel to the predecessor Knives Out which was released in 2019, Glass Onion stars Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, Janaelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Serena Williams and so many more. With a star-studded cast and a new mystery, we can look forward to Glass Onion bringing inquisitive minds together. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
Pinocchio is a classic tale and many are thrilled to see the retelling of this classic by award-winning Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. Two of his most famous films include Shape of Water and Pan’s Labyrinth. This retelling of Pinocchio stars Ewan McGregor, Finn Wolfhard, Rupert Grint, and more. Guillermo del Toro has previously worked with Netflix for his series that was released this Halloween called Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
