This is a little bit of a controversial one just like Facebook, you can now turn off your online status on the Instagram social media app in 4 simple steps. The app Preview, recently posted on their Instagram the steps in a carrousel format, and we have that right here to show you.
Firstly, why would you want to appear offline? Well, there are many different reasons! One of them includes not wanting people to contact you, another maybe because of general privacy reasons. Whatever it is, you can now have the freedom to choose and below are the simple steps on how to do it!
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
- Go onto your profile and click on the 3 lines to access your Settings.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Then click on Privacy.
4. Click on Activity Status.
5. Turn your status on or off.
